Walter Owens
Walter Owens serves as minister of music, media, and arts at Salem Baptist Church of Chicago. He lectures as an adjunct professor at Columbia College of Chicago, where he conducts the gospel choir and the gospel repertory ensemble. He also served on the editorial committee for the African American Heritage Hymnal.

Christ Community Church Worship
Christ Community Church Worship is a collection of worship leaders and musicians from Christ Community's five Chicagoland campus locations in suburban St. Charles, Streamwood, Aurora, Huntley, and DeKalb. Directed by Lead Worship Pastor Ben Radliff, the band is committed to glorifying God through contemporary music that draws Christ followers to praise and worship the Lord with all their heart, mind, and strength. The worship music team has performed in a variety of venues, including Christ Community Christmas and Easter programs specially filmed for broadcast on FOX TV 32 in Chicago.

Tim Stafford
Tim Stafford has been a part of the music ministry staff at The Moody Church since 2001. He is also an adjunct faculty member in Moody Bible Institute’s Music and Media Arts Division. Tim received a Bachelor of Music from Moody and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Northwestern University. As a vocalist, guitarist, and conductor, he is committed to serving the local church by facilitating corporate worship that is Christ-exalting, transformational, and displays the unity of the Spirit.

Johnny Armijo
Johnny Armijo is young adult pastor at Calvary Church in Muscatine, Iowa. Johnny graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago in 2020, where he developed a passion to lead others to the throne of grace through the gifts and talents that God has given him, especially through music. He is currently helping the young adult community in Iowa to fall in love with Jesus.
Natalie Grant
Natalie Grant is one of the most prolific recording artists in the contemporary Christian music industry. She has won the Gospel Music Association’s Dove Award for Female Vocalist of the Year five times and has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards. Natalie is also the cofounder of Hope For Justice, a worldwide nonprofit organization fighting against human trafficking.

The Moody Chorale
The Moody Chorale, conducted by Dr. Yongmin Kim, was founded in 1946 and has long been recognized as one of the leading collegiate choral organizations specializing in sacred music. The chorale exists to lead men and women in worship of the Creator by ministering biblical and theological truths through music and personal testimony. Their repertoire includes a broad range of choral music from several periods of music history.
The Moody Campus Orchestra
The Moody Campus Orchestra, directed by Dr. Jae Hyeok Jang, consists of students and faculty members from Moody Bible Institute and musicians from the local community. Performing a diverse repertoire, the orchestra plays classical and modern music and arrangements of church music. The orchestra’s ministry is to build strong community relationships and perform in a broad range of venues, including churches and schools, locally and beyond.
The Moody Gospel Choir
The Moody Gospel Choir, directed by Dr. Yongmin Kim, uses music to share the good news of Jesus Christ. The group is comprised of a choir and a band performing many different styles of gospel music. The ensemble places an emphasis on Scripture and conveying love through a ministerial message of praise and worship. The repertoire of this fully accredited gospel ensemble consists of both traditional and contemporary gospel styles.
The Moody Worship Collectives
The Moody Worship Collectives (Ecclesia and EverPraise), directed by Dr. David Gauger, seek to worship God and lead others in worshiping Him through contemporary praise music. All types of stage-based arts are incorporated to add richness and variety to corporate worship. Members of the Moody Worship Collectives are Moody students from all majors. Performance and worship leadership opportunities include many on-campus events and chapel as well as off-campus worship services at churches.
